Free AAC worksheets
Seven free worksheets to print, cut and glue: three for Thanksgiving, and four for any week of the year. No sign-up, no email. Each one is a single US Letter page made with Tap AAC’s own pictures.
For Thanksgiving
These three go with our free Thanksgiving communication board. Do them in the days before, then bring the board to the table on the day.
-
Set the table
Cut out the plate, fork and cup, glue them in the First, Next and Last boxes, then set a real table the same way together.
-
I want ___ sentence strip
Cut out the eight Thanksgiving food cards, put one on the I want strip, and touch each picture as you say the whole sentence.

For any week
Feelings, hand washing, one core word, and cards to practice before a hard moment.
-
Core word of the week: want
One word all week: see want, find it in a row of pictures, trace it, then circle the things you want.
-
How do I feel? Feelings check-in
Point to happy, sad, mad, worried or tired, finish “I feel ___ because ___”, then pick what would help, like a hug or a break.
-
Wash your hands: first, next, last
Cut out soap, scrub and dry, glue them in order, and tape a copy by the sink to point to while you wash together.
-
Practice before it’s needed: stop, help, break, all done
Four big cards to cut out and practice in play while things are calm, so they are ready when things get hard.
How to use them
- Print on plain paper. Card stock lasts longer for the cards you cut out.
- Do one worksheet at a time, at a calm moment, and keep it short.
- Say the words as you point to the pictures. Any try counts: a point, a sound, a look.
- Keep the finished sheet where it gets used: the strip by the plate, the hand washing steps by the sink.
The worksheets are covered by the same terms of use as our free boards: print and share them as much as you like, please don’t sell them.
These boards and guides are general information, not therapy or medical advice, and they don’t replace a speech therapist. A speech therapist who knows the person can help choose the right words, pictures and layout. The boards are free to print and share; please don’t sell them (terms of use).
