Terms of use for the free printable boards

These terms cover the free printable boards and visual schedules on tapaac.com: the PDFs, the board pictures and the picture cards in Free printable AAC boards.

They also cover the pictures in the free AAC board maker, on the boards you make with it.

They also cover the core word cards, the modeling handout and the core word of the week pages in Core words, and the AAC myths and facts handout on the AAC myths and facts guide.

They also cover the example boards and pictures in the AAC guides.

They also cover the board files for the Tap AAC app (.obz) on the board pages and the core word of the week pages. You may open them in Tap AAC or in any other AAC app that opens Open Board Format files, and share them, on these terms.

You may

• Print as many copies as you need, for yourself or the people you support.
• Use them at home, in schools and classrooms, in speech, occupational and other therapy, and in hospitals, clinics and care homes.
• Share the PDFs with family, colleagues and other parents, by email or on a shared drive, or link to the page you found them on.
• Cut up, laminate and change your printed copies: glue on photos, cross out words, write in new ones.
• Show a picture of a board in a newsletter, a blog post or a presentation, with the credit “Tap AAC (LMNOP LABS LLC)”. A link to the board’s page on tapaac.com is welcome but not required, and any kind of link is fine, including nofollow.

Please don’t

• Sell the boards, the cards or copies of them, on their own or as part of something you sell, like a printed pack, a paid download or an app.
• Remove the “Free printable from tapaac.com” line or the copyright line from the sheets.
• Take the pictures out of the boards to use on their own, for example in your own symbol set, app or product.
• Present the boards as your own work.

Who owns the pictures

The pictures and the board layouts are © 2026 LMNOP LABS LLC. The pictures come from Tap AAC’s own picture set. The boards are free to use under these terms; all other rights are reserved.

Other uses

For any use these terms don’t cover, such as a book, a commercial product or a printed pack for sale, email support@lmnoplabs.fun and ask first.

Not advice

The boards and guides are general information, not therapy or medical advice. They are provided as they are, with no promise that they suit any particular person or purpose. A speech therapist who knows the person can help choose the right words, pictures and layout.
